Unique Event Locations

Providing idyllic spaces to create, celebrate and come together

Venue 1

Culter Allers House

A private country house built in the late 1800’s, set in manicured grounds and featuring a majestic 125-year-old Lime tree walk to Culter Kirk in addition to a late Victorian walled Kitchen Garden.

The house itself is brimming with features you’d anticipate of a Baronial neo gothic style building. High ceilings, a sweeping staircase lined with McCosh ancestry and a welcoming roaring fire in the entrance hall.

The main conference board room seats up to 20 people while the Drawing room offers further seated space for up to 25 delegates and has views over the walled garden and lawns. The front lawn being the ideal location for a Marquee for larger parties and events.

Venue 2

The Watermill

Conveniently located just a short stroll from Culter Allers, you will find yourself in the heart of historical Coulter and at our 13th century Watermill.

While the wheel hasn’t turned for some time, the building offers an atmospheric space that’s perfectly suited to host Wedding Receptions, Corporate meets and Artisan events. On the first floor there is a fitted bar area and seating for up to 30 guests.  The staircase at the front of the building leads you up to a high and beamed ceiling conference space and/or dancefloor for 50 guests.

Given our location, privacy is easily achieved here and parking is plentiful.
